Henry Hudson: Hero or Not? Held at Schodack Island State Park. Learn about Henry Hudson's voyage up the river that now bears his name and about his stop in our area. We'll build ships to represent his ship the Half Moon and create feathered arrows to represent the Mohican people who once lived on the island. After we act out a trading skit, determine for yourself if Henry Hudson should be considered a hero or not. Program in cooperation with Schodack Island State Park. |
