Notes from Our Director:

We're proud to announce that we've recently revised our mission statement to reflect our ambition in serving you. Our new mission statement, recently approved by our Board of Trustees, is:

Enriching lives, empowering our community, encouraging exploration.

In that spirit, we're now offering some new ways to explore your world:
  • Explore area museums. CPL has added 4 new museum passes to our collection! Museum passes are checked out just like a library book, and can be used for free admission to select museums. See a complete list of our museum passes by clicking this link.
  • Explore your family history. CPL now offers free in-library access to Ancestry Library Edition. Search for and save historical records, and get helpful hints in putting together your family tree. Need help? Our librarians are happy to assist you.
  • Explore learning a language. The Mango Languages language-learning program offers instruction in 72 languages, from the comfort of your home. All you need to get started is your library card! Click here to get started.

See below for a full list of the programs we're offering this month.  Do you have a suggestion for a program or service you'd like the library to offer? We'd love to hear from you!

Best,

Melissa Tacke, Library Director
