Notes from Our Director:

Thanks to everyone who participated in this year's Summer Reading Club! We hope you enjoyed a summer full of fun and learning.

If you haven't turned in your reading record yet, please bring it in! We've already drawn our raffle prize winners, but kids and teens get a special goody bag when they hand in their reading record through Saturday, September 4. Online youth participants can also pick up their goody bags -- just stop and ask for yours at our front desk.

September is Library Card Sign-Up Month! If you register for a library card for the first time during the month of September, we'll give you a welcome gift. Spread the word to your family and friends! Signing up for a library card is easy -- adults and teens 16+ need to bring their photo ID and proof of current address. Youth under 16 need to bring their parent/guardian in order to sign up.

See below for a complete list of our September events. Unless otherwise indicated, our in-person events will be held outdoors. Feel free to drop in – no need to register! We’ll have a tent on the front lawn during the month of September to help protect participants from the sun and drizzle. In case of inclement weather, events will be cancelled. If you’re unsure of the impact of weather on an outdoor event, please give us a call at 518-732-0879 before you travel to the library.

We hope you'll stop in and see us this fall!

Best,

Melissa Tacke
