Notes from Our Director:

Are you interested in serving our community and helping to improve our library? The Castleton Public Library's Board of Trustees is currently seeking a trustee to fill a vacancy on the Board. The Board is responsible for guiding funds, policies, and strategic planning for the library. The Board meets monthly; the total time commitment for Trustees is approximately two to three hours per month. To learn more about what it means to serve on our Board of Trustees, please attend the next Board meeting on Monday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m. or send an email to director@castletonpubliclibrary.org.

Have you checked out one of our museum passes lately? Museum passes offer free or reduced admission to a number of area museums. You check passes out just like a library book; passes are loaned for 3 days. We are pleased to add 3 new passes to our collection in 2020: Berkshire Botanical Garden, Crailo State Historic Site, and Olana State Historic Site. Click here for a full list of our museum passes. Please note that some sites are open seasonally and may not yet be open for the 2020 season.

See below for a full list of our events and classes for the month of March!

Best,

Melissa Tacke
