Notes from Our Director: 

It's the time of year to give thanks! Explore your sense of gratitude with our Thankful Turkeys take-home craft kit, stop in to create your own Gratitude Holder on November 23, or stop in to make a Woven Thanksgiving Placemat on November 26 to make your Thanksgiving celebration extra-special! A full list of our activities for the month is listed below. 

We're thankful for all of our library patrons -- we'll hope you'll stop in and see us this month!

Take and Make Craft Kit: Thankful Turkeys

Pick up anytime from Sunday, November 2 through Saturday, November 29.

November is a great time to think about what you are thankful for. For this fun craft, you'll trace your hand to be a turkey's feathers and then write something you're thankful for on each feather!

Join us for an informative presentation on HUD Homes, where you'll learn what HUD Homes are, who is eligible to purchase them, and how the buying process works from start to finish.

Build with Cardboard Bricks

See what you can create out of our large cardboard bricks that are perfect for building!
Fiber Arts Workshop

The Upper Hudson Library System hosts a great collection of ebooks, digital audiobooks, digital magazines, and streaming video, resources for research, and more! Click here to visit our page about digital resources. 
Borrow a WiFi Hotspot

Did you know that we loan WiFi hotspots? They can be borrowed for 14 days -- all you need is your library card! Hotspots are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can only be checked out and returned at CPL. Call 518-732-0879 or email [email protected] for more information. 
WiFi Inside & Outside Our Building

Our WiFi is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can access the public WiFi on the front lawn, or alongside the building on Stimpson Avenue (the signal is strongest near the front of the building). Just look for the network called "Castleton Public Library." There's no password to connect!
