Notes from Our Director:

Happy New Year! The start of a new year is a great time for a fresh start and to explore new opportunities. Want to spend more time tapping into your creativity, learn how best to tell your story, or explore new recipes? See this month's program calendar below for information about our offerings this January.

Looking to join a book club in the new year? We have two monthly book clubs for adults at the library:
  • The After Dinner Book Club meets the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Books are available at the front desk starting 4 weeks prior to the discussion date. Check out what we'll be reading in 2025!
  • The Afternoon Book Club meets the third Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. Books are available at the front desk starting 4 weeks prior to the discussion date. Check out what we'll be reading in 2025!

For those with young children, the new year is also a great time to explore our weekly early-learning programs for little ones:
  • Pajama Storytime, offered every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m., is geared toward children from birth to age 8 to enjoy stories. Little ones are welcome to wear their PJs or bring a stuffed animal friend!
  • Learn & Play Storytime, offered every Thursday at 10:30 a.m., helps little ones from birth to age 5 build their early literacy and motor skills through stories, rhymes, music, movement, and play. Bring your little one and help strengthen the skills they need to become ready to read -- and have fun too!
We look forward to serving you in 2025! Have questions about our services? Email [email protected] or call us at 518-732-0879.

Best,

Melissa Tacke, Library Director
